Setu Bandha Sarvagasana

  • Begin with the arms close to the body.
  • Push up with the feet into the floor, press the thighs forward and press the backs of the arms into the floor.
  • Push the tailbone up, firming but not clenching the glutes as you lift them up.
  • Tuck the shoulders
  • Hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Bridge opens the root (muladhara) chakra. As you advance into the pose the heart (anahata)chakra will open as the chest lifts as well.
