  • Kneel on the floor with your knees hip distance apart with the highs perpendicular to the floor.
  • With an in ward rotation in the thighs, inhale and lean back as far as possible, lifting the heart. The hands press down your shins and tops of feet into the floor.
  • You may not be able to reach your feet, but you can still find the benefits of this pose.
  • Hold for 30 seconds to one minute.

This pose opens the heart (anahata chakra) and sends energy to the throat chakra (vishuddhii) and the crown chakra.
